Day 2 - Entry 1

I think they drugged the “food” I ate yesterday. Yet if I was sedated what was their purpose? I have already checked to see if they did anything to me, they didn’t. I do not notice any changes in the sleeping chamber either. Are my human captors sadistic as well as cruel? Would they drug me just for the sake of drugging me?. I guess I will just have to put my far superior intelligence to work to solve this riddle. What do I know to be true? First, I know I must eat at some regular, but as of now undetermined frequency or my insides will eat my outsides and well you know, that violent gruesome death thing. I also know that After eating the “food” two things happened. First I diminished the supplies to a point where starvation again becomes a real threat, and second I soon fell asleep and remember nothing. I have to think, did something happen? Is there something I am missing?

Wait, I do remember something. As I was cleaning myself the throat spasms and rolling noise started again and then, and then nothing until I woke this morning. Of course, it isn’t the food, I did this to myself. It is the same physiological response my human captors used in my abduction. This means now, that I can trigger the sedative effects myself. I have never had this issue before. Is it a curse of the insides? Can this all get any worse? Now not only am I likely to starve to death but with only a little effort on my part I can knock myself out. Can I knock myself out for a great enough period of time as to starve to death? Again, Fate taunts me, but I will taunt it back this time. This means the food is safe to eat! Take that bringer of dark destiny.

The food is safe! Now, only if my human captors supply me with enough. I will have to work on this problem after I eat another ration of the “food”. I bet it is even more disgusting after being out all night.
