Dare to Dream

To dare to dream...

...of beautiful things...

...without concern of truth.

This is it seems a childish thing accounted only to youth.

For even thought...

...our sorrow grows...

...those dreams never draw near.

The youth replaced in our haste with things of a common fear.

Then we find...

...with the passing time...

...that some dreams remain.

Wrapped in fear and hidden by tear and spoke of as they are feign.

In passing days...

...in all out ways...

...we never tried to see.

If we lived the dream would it seem childish to be?
