My daughter was given a creative writing assignment the other day. She had to write a letter to an inanimate object. She chose to write a breakup letter to the rock in her shoe. Here is what she wrote.
Dear Rock in my Shoe,

We have spent so many years together but I can no longer stand this torture. The constant pain of continuing this journey with you in my shoes is unbearable. We need to part and go our separate ways. I know it will be hard but you have the head of well, a rock, so I believe in you. You can no longer stay inside of my shoe and cause me this pain every time I walk around, I’ve tried to shake you loose but you did not budge. So I write this letter to you, to let you know that it is over. We will no longer be together and if you would kindly evict my shoe I would be very appreciative. Thank you for all these years together but ifs been all too painful. I hope you find somebody knew that can love you like I never could.
Yours Truly,
Bek J Underwood
